wandering round John Lewis today (the greatest place to be une flâneuse) I fell in love with a dress someone had made for the fabric section. It was a fitted strapless dress, and had a pencil skirt overlapped with a shorter, wide-pleated skirt. It was the perfect dress and the perfect fabric and didn’t see anything like that in any other shop. Think it’s time to take up sewing
